Tap Team Two - Hoofing in America

Study Guide: Grades K-5

Tap Team TwoHoofing (street tap dance) scuffs, bites, and insists on a percussive tap voice without sacrificing any poetry of movement or musical collaboration. This team innovates by using the sounds made by their feet to form an orchestra with each dancer being different instruments, thus creating many colors and moods.

Through presenting tap dance as an American art form, these performers stimulate pride in their mixture of African and Irish heritages while keeping the art form alive and thriving.

Grades: K-5, 6-8, 9-12

Cost: $400 per performance or
$600 for two performances at same location
