support (3)

Our organization is incredibly thankful for the support of those who elevate our work and uphold our mission. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we rely on those who share our vision to keep our work going through their generous giving, which subsidizes the cost of our programs for school communities and students across our region.

The cost of student programs for our last fiscal year exceeded $200,000 and our program revenue reached a little less than 50% of that cost at $94,000. Our program needs continue to grow, with an increase of 25% so far this year.

As we approach the end of our current fiscal year (June 30th), we ask you to consider a gift to one of the following funds, which help us continue our reach and bring our impactful programs to more and more students.

Rogers Program Development Fund

This fund was established in honor of Dr. Cheryl and Michael Rogers as our 2023 Kay Arms Lifetime Achievement recipients. Their history with Young Audiences runs deep and they were critical in cultivating artistic quality and development of our organization. Gifts to this fund go directly to the creation and piloting of new programs. Following the launch of this fund, we were able to provide programs to 6 new campuses in our region, increase our after-school program offerings, and are currently working on summer programs! A gift to the Rogers Program Development Fund ensures that we continue to develop programs that meet the needs of our school communities.

Annual Student Programming Fund

Once programs are developed and established, the Annual Student Programming Fund allows the cost of our programs and residencies to be offered at the absolute lowest possible price, making arts education reachable for all communities. A gift to this fund ensures that there is equitable access to each school community and that our teaching artists are supported for their work. This year, you can give to this fund in honor of our Arts in Education ICON recipient, George A. Faber, II. Mr. Faber’s remarkable dedication to our organization spans seven years of service as a board member from 2007 to 2014. His passion and love for the arts has transformed the landscape of Tyler ISD and our broader community.

Bobbie Luttig Access for All Fund

If there lies a financial hurdle for school communities in low-income areas, the Bobbie Luttig Access for All Fund is offered to help. This fund, established by the family of Bobbie Luttig, serves as a needs-based scholarship for school communities to help underwrite the cost of programs for their students. Bobbie Luttig was one of the founding members of Young Audiences of NE Texas, who laid the foundation that all students deserve access to quality arts education. Because of gifts to this fund, we are able to subsidize up to 50% of the cost of programs to those in need. Over the last 12 months we were able to provide $7,265 worth of programming scholarships to schools in need. Your gift to this fund allows cost to not hinder school communities with limited resources.
