With a degree in zoology and an electrifying stage presence, this author and “singing zoologist” creates songs and stories that somehow manage to be both outrageously fun and scientifically accurate. His zany, family-friendly humor and sophisticated songwriting have earned him three Parents’ Choice Awards and rave reviews from educators, parents, critics, and kids. Lucas’ ability to teach while entertaining is unsurpassed! Lucas' programs feature collections of songs, stories, and puppet plays. K-2 students learn about the life-cycles of monarch butterflies, frogs, and other creatures as well as animals' adaptations that allow them to survive in their particular habitats. Upper elementary students learn about endangered species and the interdependence between species. Students of all ages will be entertained and inspired!
