Presented by individual artists/ensembles,
these interactive and education
programs reach and inspire the
maximum number of students.
Workshop
Workshops are lasting, hands-on
artistic experiences in small
classroom-sized groups. Combining
a workshop’s with YANET
performances heightens the effectiveness.
Residency
Residencies are extended courses
led by a YANET professional artist.
They can last from two days to
a full school year, with an optional
final performance. Residency programs
can be offered as an extension
or a supplement/support to existing
fine arts programs or as a full
service fine arts curriculum.
Customized arts-integration residencies,
designed to use the Arts to illuminate
and deepen the impact of the core
curriculum with lesson plans,
can be developed by experienced
YANET teaching artists in collaboration
with classroom teachers. |
