Young
Audiences and Tyler ISD are members
of the Partners in Education
Program of the John F. Kennedy
Center for the Performing Arts.
Selected because of our demonstrated
commitment to the improvement
of education in and through the
arts, we collaborate to provide
professional development opportunities
in the arts for educators.
The goal of these professional
development programs is to develop
teachers’ knowledge, skill
and appreciation of teaching in
and through the arts. We offer
workshops for teachers at all
grade levels designed to increase
their skill in using the arts
as a teaching strategy by integrating
study of an art form with other
core curriculum.
YANET programs are open to teachers
from all districts and will be
advertised as they are scheduled.
Programs can also be scheduled
in your school or district with
prior arrangement. All workshops
are taught by highly qualified
teaching artists.
